uwin-package.YYYY-MM-DD.win32.i386.exe is a
UWIN binary installataion
sear
for
package version
YYYY-MM-DD. A
sear is a self-extracting archive windows executable. See
sear(1) for details on sear generation and execution.
uwin-
package sears are generated with
--command="instsear install.sh" which means the
ksh(1) script
install.sh controls the installation. Only
sear member files that have changed since the last installation are updated, so installing a sear over a previous
installation may take much less time than the initial installation.
NOTE!!! uwin-base is a required UWIN package and must be installed first for the initial UWIN install
and subsequent updates. See uwin-base(8U) for details on
this special sear.
Option operands to the sear executable are ratz(1) options.
Operands after any options are name[=value] passed to install.sh.
